Welcome to YogaGladey.

I am a Bristol based yoga teacher and have been sharing the practice of yoga in and around Bristol since 2009 when I first trained at Bristol City Yoga.

I love yoga and nature,

both together.

I’m also a mother of three young people. Motherhood has been my main vocation for the past 22 years and yoga has deeply influenced my mothering journey.

Bringing up my three children has been a massive part of my daily yoga practice, karma yoga, the practice of selfless service. Maybe this is why I love sharing pregnancy yoga and mums and babes yoga, because I have the experiential understanding of the benefits of yoga as a way of life in a family setting.

Yoga is the medicine that holds all the pieces of my life together.

Yoga has saved me many times and given me a practice to sustain and nourish my Self from deep within.

As well as being a full time yoga teacher, I also run women’s yoga retreats with my dear friend and sister, Ali Woozley. We are both passionate about bringing women together in circle, creating community and spending time in nature.

As I embark on the next chapter of my life, I’m really interested in exploring yoga for women in the ‘queen’ phase of life!

I would also love to train women in the work I have done so that they can also share yoga and help other women who could benefit.

(This is a future project I’m working on)

For now, I run my regular weekly classes (see timetable)

I have a yoga and harmony singing workshop coming up with my amazing and talented sister Sophie Sterckx on the 10th of November in Bristol and on the 19th of January in Stroud. Book through Sophie’s website: www.sophiesterckx.co.uk or contact me.

I offer holistic massage for women from my home, which you can book through me

Ali and I have two women’s yoga retreats now bookable for 2025:

Othona 28th-30th March 2025 and

Asha 23rd-25th May 2025.

More about these in the retreats section of this website.
