For a while now I have been thinking about a class which combines yoga with a bit of strength training.

Being a middle aged woman, I am aware of the hormonal changes at this age and of how important it is to keep our bones and joints both supple and strong! I started HIT training recently and love it. I feel the benefits and it is wonderful to notice the strength in my body. This is why I’ve decided to give yoga with weights a go.

The class will be a dynamic hatha flow class and we will have the option to incorporate light (0.5-2.5 kg) weights into some of the postures. No one has to use the weights, as usual this is purely up to you! We will also practice the more yin style seated and supine postures and always finish with a lovely nourishing yoga nidra and AUM.

The class is open to all, so come give it a go!!!
